Pennsylvania New York Central Transportation Company 1968 stock This 100 share stock certificate dates from 1968. What makes it extremely interesting and very rare is the shareholder to whom it was issued: the famed comedian, Groucho Marx. There is a transportation vignette featuring winged Mercury, a plane, train, truck, and a city. Security-Columbian Banknote Company was the engraver. Condition is very good. There are three normal small punch cancels and some tiny pin holes, else crisp and clean. The company was formed by the combination of the New York Central and Pennsylvania Railroads on February 1, 1968. In 1969, the Penn Central merged with the New Haven RR. Price= SOLD Kellett Autogiro Corporation This very rare and historic stock certificate was issued in 1933 to (Captain) Eddie Rickenbacker. The autogiro has a conventional propeller plus a horizontal propeller to provide lift. It is signed by Kellett. Captain Eddie Rickenbacker was America’s Ace of Aces in World War I and the major developer of Eastern Airlines. Eastern operated the only autogiro mail route in 1939.
